This 58 chevy pick-up started out like most. Hot rodded back in the day, there was quite a bit of ugliness underneath. We started out with the stock frame and added a Chubby chassis IFS with power rack and disc brakes. For the rear we used the dana 44 that was in the truck but hung it with a triangulated 4-link with aldan coil overs. Power brakes makes it much nicer to stop. The whole chassis was powder coated in Silvervein for something different. The engine is just a mild 350 with alittle bit of shine to make it look nice. Its backed by a turbo 350 and shifted with a Lokar shifter. The interior was outfitted with Autometer guages in a billet bezel. A polished Flaming river tilt column was also chosen. We used a seat out of a astro van which after a few mods fits perfectly. The truck was sprayed viper red by Cal Custom of Camarillo, CA. The upolhstry was finished by J.B. Custom Interiors in Camarillo also. The truck rides on 18" chromed Coys wheels.
