This is a cool old truck. It came to us with many issues..  Electrical, steering, and power..  The truck was outfitted with a Ford 6.9l diesel and 4-speed manual trans. We rewired the whole truck with a Painless wiring harness.  The drivetrain was updated with a newer 7.3l ford deisel with a custom turbo setup on it. The radiator was upgraded with a Fluidyne aluminum radiator with twin Spal fans. We also upgraded the trans to a ZF 5-speed and threw a Gear-Vendor on the back of it for good highway cruisability.  The steering was upgraded with a Lee manufacturing steering box and ram assist unit. These upgrades made a huge difference in the drivability of the truck.  From down right scary to enjoyable..
